Hybrid Systems Research Seminar
The Hybrid Systems Research Seminar (HSRS) is a weekly seminar series focused on the field of hybrid systems. Goals include expanding the knowledge base and research productivity of attendees through presentations, speakers, and discussions.
By encouraging students to formally present their research findings to a constructively critical audience with a background in hybrid systems, the HSRS accelerates the pace and quality of ongoing hybrid systems research at Berkeley. Additionally, alternating these in-house presentations with presentations from both visiting and resident faculty keeps attendees apprised to the newest results and biggest challenges in hybrid systems research today.
A brief list of the topics covered in this seminar is listed below, along with administrative information about meetings.
- Spring 2010
-
For the Spring 2010, the Hybrid Systems Research Seminar will not have regular weekly meetings
During Spring Semester 2010, the HSRS will remain a venue for members who submitted papers to the Hybrid Systems Computation and Control Conference (HSCC) to practice and receive feedback on their conference presentations.
For weekly meetings on hybrid systems and related topics, members are encouraged to attend a new seminar series, the Principle Abstractions study group, which meets weekly on Wednesdays at 3pm. This study group will cover a broader array of topics which encompass hybrid systems and will host any speakers on hybrid systems previously planned for HSRS.
- Fall 2009
-
Time: Wednesdays, 2:00-3:00pm
Location: TRUST\CHESS Center Seminar Room (Cory 247)
A more detailed schedule of meetings can be found on our calendar. Details about speakers and topics for each meeting will be included in the description section of the calendar entries as they are finalized.
