Trouble logging in? In order to establish your identity as you browse this site, this server needs to set a cookie named "chessSessionKey" in your browser. If you have trouble logging in, we recommend the following settings: In Internet Explorer 5 & 6: Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security. Click on the "Internet" Icon and set the slider to "Medium." In Netscape 7, or Mozilla 1.x: Go to Edit-> Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Cookies. Select the option "Enable cookies for the originating web site only." In Netscape Navigator 4.7: Go to Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced. Select the option "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating browser." We also recommend checking the box labeled "Warn me before accepting a cookie."



Still trouble logging in? Check that the clock and timezone are set correctly on your computer. An incorrect timezone setting can cause your login cookie to be created with an expiration time that has already passed. If this happens, your username and password will be accepted, but the next page you see will probably tell you you are not logged in.
