Abstract
The TerraSwarm Research Center is addressing the huge potential (and associated risks) of pervasive integration of smart, networked sensors and actuators into a connected world. Pervasive connectivity, data aggregation, and integration of sophisticated learning and optimization algorithms enable a new generation of systems and services. This paper describes how this work is central to the development of smarter defense systems.
