Luminary Micro
The Luminary Micro LM3s8962 has ample general-purpose input/output (GPIO) ports, 5 and 15 volt outputs for powering sensors, low interrupt latency, high-frequency PWM generation, and high-precision timers for application logic.
The LM3s8962 does not have a digital-to-analog converter for analog output, however analog output can be achieved via PWM. See Generating Analog Output via PWM.
The kit used by CHESS includes the processor, ULINK II JTAG Emulator (for flashing and debugging) and the Keil uVision 3 development environment. Together, this kit is sold as Luminary Micro EKK-LM3S8962 Ethernet+CAN Evaluation Kit.
